More about the XBOX 360: Zero Hour event

So in the past 5 hours since I’ve gotten here this is what I have seen and done so far:

1. Gone through press check-in.
2. Found out that I will be getting a free memory unit and XBOX 360 Zero Hour hoodie.
3. Discovered that the people who give out the items for #2 shutdown at 10PM and won’t reopen until 7AM
4. Played an absolute shit-ton of Project Gothan Racing 3. Verdict: Fun as hell
5. Wandered around the MASSIVE hangar checking out the crowds around the games
6. Taken a ton of photographs
7. Seeked refuge from the chill in the press room

Now checking things about about this event its like a lot of other console lanuch events it seems. Lets go down the list of items that makes up this event in particular:

1. Massive array of lighting in your brands color: Check

XBOX 360: The Lighting!

2. Massive aircraft hangar full of your console and launch titles. Check

XBOX 360: Entering the Hangar

XBOX 360: Deep Inside the Hangar

3. Pounding base to the point that from the press room it sounds like King Kong is running on a treadmill outside. Check
4. Top tier of execs from console on hand to chat with and interview. Check
5. Live musical performances by current trendy/popular band with your target audience. Check
6. Burlesque show. Check?!?

Yeah, thats right. Since I’ve been here I saw a honest to goodness burlesque show in one of the smaller XBOX 360 geodesic chill-out domes in one of the reserved press/staff XBOX 360 play areas. Check this craziness out people:

XBOX 360: The Burlesque Show!

When does the missle rise up through the floor while Dr. Exodus shouts about his plans for world domination?
