Survived the Metro rail trip from Long Beach to Pasadena Del Mar station. Drive from Sylmar to Las Vegas was uneventful. Checked out the Grand Ballroom we are wiring up for networking the press show for tomorrow, its going to be a bear. I shoulda have remember to bring kneepads for all the gaff tape I’m going to be running to tape up these long ass Cat5 runs. The room is about 220ft deep and 210ft wide or something like that. It’s huge! Big enough to make the use of fiber for backhauls due to ethernet cable length restriction a reality at least. Yay. Then we get to scout out the MGM Grand master ballroom in their convention center, should be equally massive. On top of all of that I also have a metric asston of meetings to make it to with various companies here at CES. Don’t expect to hear back from me on any day in particular until late at night like 10pmish. I should be returning from Las Vegas on Saturday morning and should be in the hood around noon.
