Vegas Baby!

Well I am getting the last preparations out of the way for my trip to Las Vegas for this years 2004 CES (Consumer Electronics Show for those needing a clue). I’ll be helping out the guys from BYTE magazine and will attempt to find whatever is cool at the show and take photos for everyone. Also going to be working the Pepcom and ShowStoppers side shows that go on after the general CES exhibits close each day.

I’m really jazzed about going, its been almost 6 months since I was last in Vegas. I just wish my body was jazzed, I had a stupid asthma attack last night so my body feels like it just wants to take a long ass nap and recover.

Besides getting to see the CES show itself other highlights will include hanging out with this guy Sean Michael who I met at Tina’s birthday last friday. He was a cool guy and it should be fun hanging with him and his peeps in Vegas! I’m also looking forward to the super swanky Ghost Bar party that I got invited to, they are going to pick me up in a limo! Pretty sweet. Will have to get photos of that for sure.

I’ll miss you guys at Shorehouse tonight so have extra fun for me!

I shall return back in time for the Festival of Freaks.

Oh, and a girl likes me, yay! More on that later.

New Years

Went to a party where I knew literally no one but the people whom I came there with.

Was interesting, cool people, booze was good, music was well done.

Was mostly perma goths/insta goths/kink/bdsm/metal types. Good people, but since I’m not really any of those things and have chosen to be who I am I tend to not connect with those folks easily.

I’m not quite sure why, I think its a mindset issue.

People I went to the party with were a lot of fun, thanks Tony, Mike, Sammy, Lisa and Christina! You guys made it fun for me. Especially Christina, she was silly and drunk and we danced and it was good.

BrokenHaus was a cool place to have a party but good GOD the uphill hike was killer on my asthma.

Helping a VERY drunk Christina in vinyl corset down the hill with Tony was hilarious.

Didn’t have anyone to kiss at midnight, sorta sucked in that respect. Also wasn’t able to take photos either due to the kind of party it was and all and I wanted to stay in the good graces of the hosts.

I’m not sure what I will do for the next NYE party, part of me wants to go back to Jim’s since I really did miss all of my friends and apparently people were wondering where I was but if thats the case no one has told me this directly or gone “Dude, where were you at last night?”.

Next week I go to Las Vegas for a week to work CES and cover it for BYTE magazine.

I’m glad that I am being myself, I guess I am just getting tired of having to move on to new folks in my attempt to find a woman whom is interested in me and not my wallet or my car.
