I had some complaints from people that “Citywalk is SO FAR AWAY” blah blah blah.

Shut the heck up, most of you I know dont complain about going to Perversion or out to LA for a concert.

Anyways those people that DID show up I was very happy to get to see, some of which I havent seen in over a year.

Now before I hear some whiney mofo say “But I already told you I couldn’t make it” I know that and no, I’m not talking about the people who let me know they werent able to come or it was tenative for them.

Current list of excuses for people who said they WOULD come, but didn’t include:

“Someone from out of town came down and we played poker, and Citywalk is a long drive”

“My boyfriend broke up with me because I was planning to go out and see you with my friend”

“Our other party started an hour late and I ended up getting so wasted I had to have someone else drive me home”

As for the rest of people who didnt show they were all tenative things like “Maybe after the charity event” or “If I’m not working” or “If I dont get exhausted from landscaping” etc. Will I do my next party in LA again? Who knows, maybe, probably. I happen to like the Saddle Ranch there at Citywalk and 10 bucks for parking is a no-brainer if your car is full of people. Especially since SR has no cover charge. But whatever, people will make excuses so they dont have to go no matter what and its hard for me to pick a day for things to go down without half the people I know claiming some already existing conflict with some other event like a concert, a biz trip, or whatever.

That all being said I had a fun time at the place and did get pleasantly drunk and I’d like to thank Tim and Jen for driving me up there and Chris/Mike/Tony/Lisa for the drive back. Also, I must say, anytime you find a place that sells mixed drinks in carafe sized glasses that is a Good Thing(tm). You’d be amazed what drinking just one crafae sized glass of AMF can do to you! Heheh.

Anyways as it currently stands I have no photos of the event because my own camera was with one of the people who didnt make it that night (left it at their place at a party the previous night) and I know one or two others took a few photos so hopefully I will get those soonish to post something up on the photo gallery at http://www.nonmundane.org/gallery/

There are also a few people who owe me/offered me dinner/lunch at some point if they couldnt make it so that is on as well soon as I figure out a good time for all parties involved.

Some random hot lady from MySpace asked to add me as a friend. Turns out they seem to be pretty cool so far and I’m planning to hang out with them sometime this week. Remains to be seen if this will actually happen or if I’m being suckered into getting my hopes up. What with my track record with women flaking on me and coming up with horribly lame excuses and cancelling at far past the last second I am pretty much trying to be cautiously optimistic because I feel like there is a giant 14-ton weight floating over my head just gearing up to knock me in the head when I am least prepared for it. Stupid imaginary weights.

So, my birthday is April 12th. It falls on a Tuesday this year which pretty much means I’m bumping it to the weekend because doing it then wouldn’t work out for many people. So here is what I am planning to do:
